gallery: June 10, 2012June 10, 2012: Storms were bouncing around Florida on June 10, but I was waiting and hoping they might come to me. I went out about 9 p.m. EDT to intercept a severe storm moving toward the east coast. I couldn't get in good position to see cloud-to-ground lightning, which mostly seemed buried in rain, but as the storm appeared to die on radar, the lightning crawlers started in the anvil. I ended up with a lot more than I expected!
