July 14: This weak but pretty shelf cloud moved east over the Pineda Causeway. July 14: The little shelf had an ethereal appearance. July 14: Sunset added a little drama to the shelf cloud's advance.

July 16: I caught a few bolts in the Eau Gallie area of Melbourne, Florida, before the rain came. July 16: Another bolt near I-95. July 16: This branch of lightning seemed to reach toward me, making me a bit nervous.

July 18: This storm and budding shelf cloud looked pretty cool passing over Rockledge, but apparently it got a lot more picturesque farther east.
